Hello Everyone,

In anticipation of a very busy fall season, I’m trying to get this information update out as soon as possible.

Our Membership dinner September 8th will be in the Webster Room of the Gettysburg Hotel, we will start collecting dues for 2012. Newcomers joining our organization that night will receive a 1 year free membership. Hopefully we will have many who will take advantage of this opportunity. Encourage your family, friends or neighbors to come with you for this nice event.

The PA Federation of Republican Women’s Convention will be held at The Crown Plaza Reading Hotel, September 10th and 11th. If you are interested in attending (even for the day) contact Marcia McClain or myself. This is always an interesting and fun weekend.

October begins with Apple Harvest. Our volunteers are extremely important and necessary for our success. If you can help in any way, please let me know as I will be doing the scheduling of the volunteers.

We will be working closely with the Adams County Republican Committee to ensure a Republican victory November 8th. All the candidates need your help and support. Republicans need to maintain their majority on all our Pennsylvania Courts.

• Mike Eakin – Supreme Court
• Mary Jan Bowes & John Bender – Superior Court
• Renee Cohn Jubelier, Robin Simpson & Mary Hannah Leavitt-Commonwealth Court
• Michael George – Common Pleas Court
Candidates:
• Vic Stabile – Superior Court
• Anne Covey – Commonwealth Court

Here in the county we will be supporting District Magistrate Candidates, Tony Little and Marc Beauchat. Commissioner Candidates Randy Phiel and Jim Martin. Re-Electing District Attorney Shawn Wagner; Register & Recorder Linda Myers; Prothonotary Beverly Boyd and Coroner Pat Felix. So you can see how important this election will be to our state and county.

The women’s council will hosting an Election Night of Celebration after the polls close November 8th at the Pike in Gettysburg. Last years celebration was a popular event and we are happy to sponsor this event again. Please call Marcia McClain if you plan to attend.

I have included an updated schedule of events for the remainder of 2011 including January 2012. Please use the reservation process for each event. As you can see the next 4 months are busy ones. Don’t leave any one at home – bring them along and join us in our many
